I’m honored to be featured by VoyagePennsylvania in a recent interview where I had the opportunity to reflect on my journey as a licensed clinical social worker, entrepreneur, speaker, and founder of Vitamin C Healing and the SWAG Alliance Foundation.
The conversation isn’t just about my career—it’s about the experiences that shaped it.
We talked about:
- What first drew me to social work
- The transition from helping build a counseling practice to stepping into a new chapter of speaking, consulting, and leadership development
- Why burnout is more than an individual problem, and what organizations can do differently
- Lessons I’ve learned through entrepreneurship, grief, resilience, and rebuilding
- My vision for creating emotionally sustainable workplaces and
- strengthening the helping professions

One of the ideas I shared that continues to guide my work is this:
“Burnout isn’t simply an individual issue. More often, it’s a workplace issue that requires organizational solutions—not just personal self-care.”
That belief is at the heart of everything I do through Vitamin C Healing and the SWAG Alliance Foundation.
Whether I’m working with leaders navigating change, facilitating conversations around compassion fatigue, or supporting the social work workforce through professional development, my goal is the same: helping people create healthier, more sustainable ways to lead, work, and serve.
I’m grateful to VoyagePennsylvania for the opportunity to share more of my story.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. The next chapter is just getting started.
