On behalf of the SWAG committee, we would like to thank the sponsors, vendors, donors, speakers, and volunteers for supporting our vision to recognize the "heart work" of 21 local social workers that is oftentimes unappreciated and unrecognized.

We were all looking forward to an in-person event with over 200 guests to celebrate social work, especially during these challenging times. Your patience, flexibility, support, and compassion through the many challenges and obstacles we faced in the past year helped to make the 2020 Virtual SWAG awards ceremony a success.

Congratulations to the 2020 SWAG awardees! Thank you for upholding the integrity of the profession through your advocacy, compassion, competence, and commitment. Because of your contributions, someone chose to live, communities are stronger, stigmas are being lifted, and systems are more accountable.
